Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) programs help veterans refresh their rusty academic skills so they can successfully complete a college degree. Veterans who participate in a VUB program can redevelop the basic skills needed to complete a high school equivalency program and gain admission to a college or university by participating in short term remedial or refresher classes. Veterans can also get assistance with college and financial aid applications, and receive counseling and academic advice.
