FSEOG Grants

Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant

The FSEOG grant is a need-based grant awarded to students with the lowest Expected Family Contribution (EFC). The US Department of Education calculates EFC by considering the student’s and parent’s income and assets, the size of the family, and the number of family members attending college or another postsecondary institution.

The FSEOG grant can be used in addition to other financial aid. The minimum amount awarded through an FSEOG is $100 and the maximum is $4000.
