MyCAA

Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) Program

MyCAA is a program that can provide up to $6,000 of financial assistance for military spouses. Funding can be used to pay for education and training programs, tuition, and licensing or credentialing fees. In February2010, the Department of Defense put the program on hold, but on March 13 it was announced that the program would resume operations with the following provisions:

  • Military spouses who currently have existing MyCAA accounts will be allowed to apply courses to their MyCAA funding for approval.
  • The program will operate with the same policies and procedures that were in place before the hiatus. MyCAA will not fund any courses that do not have an approved financial assistance document prior to the start date of the course.
  • No new accounts can be created at this time.

We will be posting updates on the MyCAA program as they become available.
